I found a blog in a ditch...

I finally learned what a blog is....It's short for weblog. Or a diary posted on the internet. Here is a blog by my daughter Debbie who does her stuff in N. Canton Ohio.

The young Buddhist Monks on my blog can start at just about any age and spend a year studying and practicing the Buddhist Faith.
After that most of them return to a secular life, and cherish the time they spent as a "pongee."

One of the interesting thing about the time I spent with a 50 year old Buddhist monk traveling to Mandelay to speak to the young monks in a Monastery was that there was much laughter, and good humor. The monks and local people were kind and generous and seemed eager to learn new things.

The young monks in the picture was just having a good time and that was completely acceptable to their elders. What great fun to blow a bubble just as the photographer snapped the picture.
